The exhibition will take place in May 2010 in the Gothenburg Arthall.<br />The Exhibition is the first important event of the 2010-2011 edition of the Project “Indian – Sweden: Cultural Collaboration through Contemporary Art and Fashion” that works to improve in different forms the cultural exchange between India and Sweden. The Project is planning after the fashion exhibition two group exhibitions with Indian and Swedish contemporary artists, several solo exhibitions, seminars, workshops and meetings between fashion designers, artists, museum directors, etc from both countries.<br />Supporters of the Project “India – Sweden : Cultural Collaboration through Contemporary Art and Fashion" includes Swedish Cultural Ministry, The City of Gothenburg, Region of Västra Götaland, The National foundation of Culture for the future, The University of Gothenburg and Cities of the future.<br />Last year the invited designers included Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier.
